I was born in Poland and moved to Chicago with my parents at the age of 4 to pursue the American dream. For both of my parents, that dream included buying a home and then helping others buy homes as realtors. I saw the importance of home and family very early on and continue to value those things above all others to this day. I view every home or investment property of my client’s as incredibly important and I get just as excited about client’s properties as I do my own.
I completed high school in Chicago, and have a pre-med degree from ASU. I spent about 10 years as an underwriter in the insurance industry before succumbing to the family business of real estate, first as an investor doing both fix-and-flips and rentals, and later as a realtor. I maintain a membership in the Arizona Real Estate Investor’s Association where I often pick up interesting techniques, trends, or contacts that can be of use to my clients. I am tenacious and thorough and have a “get-it-done” attitude, softened with genuine empathy and caring for my clients, and I am not afraid to get my hands dirty rehabbing a house – no glossy manicure here!
On the personal side, I have two fabulous honor students, a large conglomeration of pets including a dog and a bunny, and our home is in fabulous and toasty warm Glendale, AZ. I love to read and spend time at the gym, go for long walks, garden, and do the occasional art project. When I’m too exhausted for any of that, I watch interior design shows on HGTV.
