After working in the customer service industry for over ten years, I decided to make a career change and started my Real Estate career in 2003. Since then, I have earned my CDPE(Certified Distressed Property Expert) and GRI(Graduate Realtor Institute) designations. I also have opened my own brokerage firm which I am the designated broker. I found something that I really enjoy and am passionate about. I pride myself on excellent customer service and will utilize my enthusiasm to make any home buying/selling experience a great one. Don't be afraid to ask anything of me. I have an energy level that won't quit. And while I'm fast tracking, I have the focus that never lets a detail slip by. While lots of Realtors do their homework, I take it to a higher level because I know that buying or selling a home is a big event in your life. Many agents think their most important job is satisfying the customer. I don’t think that’s true. I believe that satisfying the customer is simply the minimum requirement for staying in business. For both of my parents, that dream included buying a home and then helping others buy homes as realtors. I saw the importance of home and family very early on and continue to value those things above all others to this day. I view every home or investment property of my client’s as incredibly important and I get just as excited about client’s properties as I do my own.
I completed high school in Chicago, and have a pre-med degree from ASU. I spent about 10 years as an underwriter in the insurance industry before succumbing to the family business of real estate, first as an investor doing both fix-and-flips and rentals, and later as a realtor. I maintain a membership in the Arizona Real Estate Investor’s Association where I often pick up interesting techniques, trends, or contacts that can be of use to my clients. I am tenacious and thorough and have a “get-it-done” attitude, softened with genuine empathy and caring for my clients, and I am not afraid to get my hands dirty rehabbing a house – no glossy manicure here!
On the personal side, I have two fabulous honor students, a large conglomeration of pets including a dog and a bunny, and our home is in fabulous and toasty warm Glendale, AZ. I love to read and spend time at the gym, go for long walks, garden, and do the occasional art project. When I’m too exhausted for any of that, I watch interior design shows on HGTV.

When my son was in school we moved several times, due to schooling and work issues. I did all the research on schools, neighborhoods, HOA’s, proximity to highways, stores and airports. I asked about utility companies, bank loans, and title reports. I asked questions about every item on the HUD statement. One of the major things I learned is that buying a home is not just a financial decision; it is a lifestyle decision. Do you like hiking, tennis, horseback riding, sky diving or do you prefer museums and theatre. Do you enjoy yard work and owning your own pool or would you prefer a small yard and community pool? You need an agent that will hear what your lifestyle is (not theirs) and find a home that fits your lifestyle? I also know that selling a home requires extreme marketing skills. Where and how is your property being advertised: papers, magazine, MLS, facebook, you-tube? After doing all the research several times I decided to become a real estate agent in order to help others thru the process. I teamed up with a great group of people as I know that no one person can answer all you questions, as a team we can help you buy or sell your home.

I was previously licensed as a Realtor in Montana. I have spent the last six years keeping busy with my family and the 5 rental properties that I own and manage. I enjoy tennis, golf, hiking and yoga.
